I'm starting by wishing all my Steemit friends good health. Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, I am doing very well. I will participate in a great engagement challenge today. Through the challenge, I will share some moments with you about my childhood school life. The theme of this week's engagement challenge is SC-S29/W2- Nostalgia Of The Little Me : My School Days. So let's get started.

A moment that defines your school life.

School life moments are a chapter of life that can never be erased. For me as a child, what I felt was joy and fear. I was afraid of some teachers at school and I used to play with friends along with studying at school, which was a joy. When I was first admitted to school, I was very excited. That is, from the morning until I went to school, I was excited about school again and later after I was admitted to school, I was even happier to make new friends.

We have a rule in Bangladesh that all types of books in primary schools are borne by the government, that is, government books are given to primary students. When I was admitted to primary school and books were distributed to students in new classes at the beginning of the year. When I received new books in new classes, I felt a different kind of joy. As soon as I received the books, I tried to read a lot for a few days and used to cover the first page of the new book with paper, which is called "bala malot" in our village language.

I used to "malot" with the paper of the new book with my school friends. It was a great encouragement and joy for me.

Describe how you felt as a student.

First of all, I think student life is a "golden chapter". I have spent both good and bad times in my student life. In school life, I spent both studies and sports. Our school was near our house and our road was a dirt road. That is, I studied in a village school. I still laugh sometimes when I think that when I was not learning to read in school, I did not want to go to school out of fear and I used to think to myself "What if there was a lot of rain, storm today and I did not have to go to school". Because if I could not study in school, the teachers would discipline me.

Besides, during my free time at school, I used to play with my friends in the open field. During this time, there was no violence, no discrimination, there were no questions about life. School life is a different feeling that no one will ever get back even if they want it and the memory will remain in a corner of my mind for the rest of my life.

A friend or teacher who was important to you

I say from my experience that every student has a good close friend and teacher. In my case too, when I was in class six, I had a very good new friend and her name was Afroza. Again, my relationship with that friend was such that if I did not go to school, she would not go either and we would always sit in the same place. When we two were together, we did not need other friends or anything else. Again, I still remember that once I forgot to study and was sick, but when sir was going to beat me with a veda, my friend again told me to grow up and beat him. Seeing this, our teacher did not beat any of us and praised us. Later, the teacher explained that chapter to us very well.

Besides, I was a very good student in class, so almost all the teachers loved me very much, but sometimes they would discipline me for studying. I still remember when I was studying in primary school, there was a very good teacher and I had a very good understanding with her. The writer's name was Shilpi Madam and she taught English. Along with studies, she taught us many things about life through perseverance. I liked her behavior very much and I can think in my mind that when I grow up, I will try to be like a student.

A mistake or lesson in school life

Since childhood, I was very clever and I had very little patience. Or, to make me study well so that I could get very good results, that is, I was a very good student. But again, I had very little patience, that is, when I gave an exam, I would forget to revise, that is, I would quickly give the exam paper to the teacher and come back before the break.

When I was in class, my results were bad in the first interim examination. Then I noticed that if I had taken the time to give a little division, then maybe some mistakes would have been noticed again and I could have done better results. This was my mistake and I learned from this. Since then, I always gave my division during the examination and then submitted the examination paper to the teacher. Then I got very good results in the final examination. People learn a lot from mistakes and that is exactly what happened in my case.

Think about how those school days affected your position now.

It is true that those school days affect the life of every person later on. I have learned one of the biggest things in school life that is perseverance. Many people become many things by studying like someone is an engineer, doctor, government job etc. or someone has reached the peak of their dreams. From school life, I especially learned that the key to success is perseverance. Currently, I am a housewife, but I always try to do various things with my hard work, patience, and knowledge. In addition to fulfilling family responsibilities and raising a family, I also do something according to my abilities.

Again, when my studies were given before I finished them, my morale was broken, but with all the knowledge I had gained, I learned that life is very difficult. That is why I am still trying to do something good in life. Currently, I have a farm and I work as a tailor. Education has helped me gain so much knowledge about how to "stand on my own feet".
