In April 2015 Nepal earthquake killed nearly 9,000 people and injured almost 20,000 which occurred at 11:56am Nepal time with a magnitude of 7.8.

This was the day i ll ever forget in my life. let me share you my story about this day !

just another usual day. i woke up at around 9 am in the morning as it was holiday . i called my friend to sort out some of my works. so we went to ganeshthan, kathmandu around 1km far from my home . we went there to one shop and stayed there to buy some stuffs.it was around 11:40 am. we stayed there for long as the shop was a bit crowded and we had to wait for our turn. As soon as i bought my stuff and took my purse out that was the moment 11:56 am Earthquake broke out . All of us got scared and i ran out of there and jumped into nearby open ground eyes closed and so afraid. cant even explain how it felt. After few minutes of the earthquake its was a bit low the i just opened my eyes and saw around full of dust. i remeberd my friend and start searching for him.

Due to so much dust i could not see clearly around . when it was visible i saw 4 of houses was damaged in the quake. i was so worried and shout my friends name louder after few minutes he came out under one old house with full of scratches in his hand and full of dust. around us we could see people worried afraid running here and there houses and roads damaged. crying everywhere.. we were alive but we were afraid of our family so we picked up our bikes and ran out from there straight towards our home..Thank god no one from my family was harmed.

We stayed for couple weeks out of the house. Afraid and worried. This will be the most unforgettable incident in my life ever . i still go to the place where i was during the earthquake and remember all of these things. Thanks god i was saved.

if i started writting all my feelings and stories it will take so long so i would like to stop here.
RIP to those who lost their life in Earthquake april 25.

So sad to hear. I still feel that moment. Very bad fortune for Nepali people.

Yeah , It was sad day of my life too. Lost one of my closest friend and felt the disheartening of people from close. At that moment, I nearly lost hope and I thought I wouldn't be alive. By God's grace I'm here and posting this comment. All wounds given by the earthquake must have healed by now. My the lost souls rest in peace in heaven.

most unforgettable for all nepalese i guess

Yeah, we just couldn't count how many hearts were torn apart that day.

I know what you felt! About 20 years ago I was able to survive an earthquake that occurred in a town in Cariaco, Venezuela. It was not the same amount of dead you mention, thank God! But there I knew that before the fury of the earth we are very defenseless beings. Surviving any situation is an opportunity that gives us life to become better people. Blessings.
