How to Solve a 2FA issue in a foreign country

Today I will share with you my first Crypto-Issue I faced since I arrived in Republic Democratic of Congo.
When I was well settled in my new apartment and wifi was finally up, I wanted to log into my different accounts to have a quick check on how good my money was growing.

I logged in, then I have to pass my 2FA (Two factor authentification) with my phone and an error message occur : " Your 2FA is incorrect". At that point, I was disturbed then I tried on an other exchange plate-form and I face the same message. I slowly start to panic... Hackers, Congo's Wifi, etc.

I asked several of my friends and they didn't have the answer... I started google everything about 2FA factors but it quite doesn't helped me.

Finally, I found the way, and it is really really stupid... I will show you how in case some of you facing the same issue.

First, enter in your Google Authentificator app on your smartphone, then press the 3 buttons menu :

Then, click on "settings" and then choose "time correction for codes" :

In fact, 2FA is based on the time zone you belong. I came from Belgium so my Google Authentificator was still at Belgium's time zone. With this simple correction, google authentifator will adjust himself with the current timezone.

After this operation, I finally manage to enter into my exchange accounts and all was good.
