Wow! Citibank! Wow!

Called four times got four different answers. When I finally got someone on the phone that spoke English that I could understand it turns out I have to drive to Jacksonville, 1-1/2 hours away to make a cash payment on a credit card. But there is a limit and it has to be run through an ATM at the branch.

But the branch isn't really a branch. It's a "call center." When I get there I have to use a phone outside and someone will walk me into the building. There are no tellers just employees answering phone calls and ATMs.
My guess is the future is one with no cash. All digital transactions. And eventually no employees either, just robots answering calls.

What will the people do for work? I guess fix the machines?

I'm out as asap. Opening an account with Campus USA, the local credit union.
