Not necessarily. You will be guided by your spirit self. The rational goals that we put in front of ourselves don't lead us to enlightenment but only put hurdles on our way. This has been my experience.
it may be best for me to feel a very reassuring peace, maybe that's when I'm close to the Truth for a guidance. thanks @nomad-magus
