You’re really not serious,” I said and we both laughed. The break period was over and we went back for classes. School was finally over and we went back to our different homes.

Three weeks later, the session was over. We were through with our third term examinations. Now I was so free and relaxed. The exam wasn’t easy but I did my best. I was so glad because the year was running very fast. I would soon be in ss2, before you know it SS3, and finally I would get into the university.

I was in the living room watching TV when a call came into my phone. It was Deji. “Deji, what’s up!” I said as I picked the call. “I’m cool. How are you enjoying your holidays?” He asked. “Very very fine. And you?” I asked. “I’m doing exactly what you’re doing, watching TV?” I said. “Are you not bored with watching TV? What if I suggest we got out to cool off for a while,” he suggested.

“Go out? To where?” I asked. “Anywhere you suggest. I’m really tired of staying at home in one place. Besides, I would like to see you again. I really want to spend some time with you, will you go out with me?” He said. “I.....um...um....,” I didnt know what to say. “Please just say yes. Please, I’m begging you,” he pleaded.
