SISTERS OF ECHOS (THE MAKING OF A VILLAIN)

INTRODUCTION

In a dark era of the past, Cotiso is the rare exception in a world ravaged by cruelty. He's an old man with a big heart and religious values, a traveling merchant who has spent much of his life on the road. Yet, not all of his life experiences could have prepared him for what is going to happen next.

Cotiso finds himself faced with a moral choice, either he leaves behind the vulnerable girl they have found on their way to die amidst a forest filled with dangers, or take her under his wing against the advice of Dardanos, the guards' captain.

Cotiso follows his conscious and vouch for the girl whom he takes as a slave and Dardanos reluctantly accept on the condition that the girl is kept captive in a wagon for the rest of the way.

The girl, Alina, is a mystery to them. She's naive, polite and innocent, and by all means she can only be just another runaway slave. But everyone can just feel that something is off about her. She's odd! Her lies are too childish to fool anyone! And she's ridiculously ignorant of the world!

With Dardanos's suspicions surrounding her like chains, things can only take a turn to the worse when one of his men, Sinna, finds his heart captive to the eyes of the mysterious beautiful girl locked in the wagon.

Their young love blossoms in the harshest of places, a ruthless winter shadowed by suspicions, secrets, lies, death and wicked shadows of the past that follows the girl who holds the most dangerous secret in the world, of who she really is.
