THE fire out break

Okonkwo has been living with his wife and kids for a very time,the one bkessed day a terrible incident to place in their home.
One cool evening the family came back from a gathering at the village square that day and there was no electricity at home ,

Okonkwo instructed his first son chimaobi to lit the candle which he did.
Okonkwo gathered the family that night and told them a very interesting story which they enjoyed, later that night they decided to go to bed.

Chimaobi been so ignorant left the candle light in the parlour and they went to bed, it wasn’t until 2;00 am when Okonkwo pecieved a burnt smell ,he woke up to check what was happening ,to his surprise the living room was already burning .

At this juncture he ran out and raised an alarm calling for help, this woke all the family members , ther were very terrified to see there house burning ,hearing the noise from the house that night the neighbour’s around came to there aid by trying all they could to quench the fire but all efforts was in vain.

The fire lasted for more than an hour before the fire men intervened and quenched it, by this time Okonkwo has lost almost all the properties he had in the living and was able to recover just few items.
Luckliy for him he had an insurance which helped him in covering his loss.
