Don't forget your parents and grandparents!

Today I visited my grandparents who live in countryside, near small town called Elva. It was around 3pm and it was getting darker. We had just came from the flight to Riga and we were going to pick up our dog Lonny to go home. She is 10 years old brown Labrador, who really loves to eat :).

So as we opened the front door my dog just ran to me, danced around us, barked and I then i realized how happy she was. She hadn't seen us for 2 weeks... But I wanted to talk about my grandparents.

I know, I visit my grandparents very rarely. So when I opened the kitchen door and granny saw me, she said: "If I didn't know it is you, I wouldn't recognise you". This made me thinking...when was the last time I saw her? She was so old and I saw that she didn't have much power left. We talked a litle. Well then i went to the other room, there was my grandfather. He luckily recognised me. He had just came from the operation and he didn't want to move alot. Vello asked me about my trip and I talked a little about it. I saw that he had changed his room a little. When i left the room he said to me: "Can you send me some pictures and videos about the trip" I said I will...

Well, then was the time to go home. My grandmother stood up from chair and hugged me, I saw that she was crying. This made me thinking, I really dont know how long they have left to live, I have to use every moment I got. So I promised her I will visit her soon and that we can talk then longer. I sat into the car having a little sad emotions.

I wrote this story to remind you that they will miss you and you will never know when they will be gone.....forever. So pack your things and visit you parents/grandparents as soon as you can.
