Today I ate our country's traditional food, chotpoti, as a broth. The name of this shop is Bismillah chotpoti House; it is a shop along the road, so it is easy to eat from here. It is a broth-type food, so it is very beneficial for our bodies. The name of the owner of this shop is Ismail, and he has been running a shop in a place called Chowdhurybari, Narayanganj, for 8 years. It is a bus stand, so a lot of people come here, and this broth food is eaten from here.

Personally, I like their food very much; I often eat from here. However, they keep the shop open from 6 pm to 11 pm, and it is open every day of the week. This area is a commercial area, so everyone comes here to eat this food, from office colleagues to friends.

What is your favorite soup or broth after a long day and how often do you eat it?

There are many other such shops here; among them, this shop is the most popular because the quality of their food is very good. There is a chair and table arrangement for sitting and eating; this is a good service for everyone. I often eat food from here; after working hard all day, it makes the body strong. Protein foods are very beneficial for the body.

After working hard all day, I eat broth more; it fills the water deficiency in my body. It is less expensive and delicious to eat. It is a traditional food of our country, so I like it more.

Do you accompany your soup with any special ingredient (arepa, bread, lemon, hot sauce)?

Yes, if you do not add lemon juice to this chotpoti, its taste is not complete. I want to mix lemon juice in the chotpoti. Since it is sour, it enhances its taste even more.

There are some staff in this shop where they make the food very quickly. After eating, there is a payment system where payment is made in cash. It is a roadside shop, so there is no air conditioning system here; you have to sit and stand outside and eat. This is not just a shop; it is a lifeline for the people of this area.

The egg in the chotpoti is soft and fluffy, so the taste of it comes out as soon as you put it in your mouth. If there is something sour with it, it becomes complete. Today I came here with my cousin to eat chotloti. The pleasure of eating hot chotpoti in cold weather is different.
