We do have dogs here, but they are soi dogs - belonging to nobody and they don't care about people at all or guard anything. I was just at the atm and a dog was right in front of it. When I walked up to the machine, he just got up and walked away. I'm going to be in trouble if I ever leave this country with all my new habits :)
