Recalling memories from 2010
I spent a few months in the Netherlands, and I visited Amsterdam at one weekend. It was a beautiful, sunny day in May, and I tried to discover as much as possible.
The city was amazing and peaceful. According to my experience, Sunday is the most relaxed day in the Netherlands, as opposed to any other countries I have visited. In the morning hours you can hardly see any people on the streets.
During my stay in the country I was impressed by how the people of this nation adapted themselves to the environment.
Do you believe it or not, I took some of these photos in the infamous "Red Light District". Maybe only the last one can ring a bell.

I loved to be there. Anytime I travel to the Netherlands I visit the old places where I have been earlier, just to follow the changes. :-) I will check your post!
