Today in NYC, it is 29F/-2C. But last weekend, the temperatures topped out at 50F/10C, and after suffering from weeks of bitter cold, that felt like a heat wave.

So we took that opportunity to go outside and enjoy our neighborhood.

Other New Yorkers did as well.

Here's a typical New Yorker, carrying on his shoulder the furniture he just bought. I can say I have been in his shoes many times.

After an afternoon of enjoying the outdoors, we treated ourselves to some gelato.
