Hi there @ace108, yes these connected islands are in the shape of a shrimp, as you go over the bridges you can really see it's shape.
The wildlife on Captiva is awesome, it's got a nature preserve that's open to the public with inlets, sandbars and mangroves, that the birds and fish thrive.
