Thank you! :) What season did you go in? There is a lot of walking to be done by sightseeing without even thinking of the mountains. Did you do walks in the mountains or just around touristy areas?
Late March / Early April every time. It was mostly cities although we did a Mountain touristy area as well (Hakone). All good and that JR pass is like the best thing ever for a tourist.
