Summer in my parents garden

Summer is probably my favorite time of the year, warm weather beautiful flowers and plants and a lot of birds and other animals can be found here in Austria during summer time. Back in 2001 I took several pictures at my parents garden from the beautiful flowers growing there.

They have a section with intentionally growing flowers as well as another section with wildflowers that grow there on there own. Butterflies and insects prefer the wildflower section since these are often native flowers that they rely on.

These native flowers often are not so colorful as the others but have their beauty anyways. Maybe not by color or shape or even size but in attracting all the native insects.

Since I also have a garden now I also plan to plant some nice native plants so I can attract butterflies and hopefully I can make some pictures of them.
