The Golden Ancient Horizon

Some times you do not need to spend money on an expensive ticket in order to go and see how amazing the mystery of the world is. It is possible to make a piece of this magic by yourself in your bedroom without any special efforts and just with the help of some light.

This is exactly what I did while arranging these photos. From early childhood, I have always been interested in history, old mysteries and stories about pharaohs, so I tried to add some of this grandeur to my quiet evening.

As for the first picture of my photos, I positioned three small sculptures of the pyramids in a row on a flat surface in front of my window in the golden hour.

Everything went perfectly. The setting sun was located exactly behind my miniature models of pyramids, which created an impression of real pyramids rising in the Egyptian desert.

The sun glows brightly like a golden heart between those figures and casts its long rays of warmth directly on the camera. There are soft orange clouds on the sky. The shadows make the sculptures look dark and mysterious just like ancient pyramids themselves.

The second photo is devoted to the idea of looking aside of the miniature objects and enjoying the fantastic views of the outside world through the window.

As I noticed, the sun was setting, but its rays created a wonderful explosion of colors – bright yellow and orange.

However, what was really special about this picture is the birds who were flying across the horizon at this moment. You can see them on the photo as some black dots contrasting to the beautiful background of the sunset. They fly both near the clouds and the sun. To watch how these birds are freely flying into the warm sunlight makes you feel peaceful and relaxed.

These two photos reflect the same idea that there is always a beauty around us if we can notice it. All we have to do is to observe the usual things in a creative way. And for me, these photos are the window into the ancient world which I will never forget as a wonderful memory.
