Dont be an idiot, it's something that you should learn very young.
But, realistically, you can't be experienced if you haven't had any experiences.

If you watch this video, it will explain why today is the day to get ready to meet armed invaders.
If you wait until tomorrow, it will be too late.

This link is where the pics have been taken from.
We all know that the shtf without warning, take this as your warning.
Prepare today, if you want to live to see some morning in the future.

Sort:

It may not be an attack by foreigners per se. I could very well be your own country or factions therein that will attack...It is scary no matter which way you slice it and to be prepared and informed is the only way to go.

Yeah, I read a fella from Bosnia the other day, he said store 'everything', you never know what will be needed the most.
Bullets and lighters were his two main suggestions.

How are ya'll doing for manufactured goods?
Can you still buy bread?

I make my own bread so we are good for now. Some stuff is hard to get. On the homestead, we have a lot of fruit and veggies growing. Some of the guys from the compound go out fishing to supplement our meat supply.

You are fairly self sufficient?
Did you give those sprouts a try?

My sprouts didn't do well. I think it is too hot here for them. Perhaps if the weather cools down I will be able to try again. They taste better if there is a bit of frost.

How high up are you?
Its was 38°c here today.
102°f and the humidity was so thick it was hiding the moutains 10 k's away.

44C yesterday with the humidex of 88%. We are close to the beach. 1 km away.

No chance of frost there,...
But, you've got to pay some price for 9 months of perfect weather, i guess.
They tell me it got down to 7°c here in january.
Everybody was miserable!

Yes, knowledge is power, and it is a gradual slope.
