A traditional dish made during winters
They're not only delicious, but also known to strengthen bones and keep the body warm. Frying Gond: First, heat ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan. When the ghee is medium hot, add Gond (gum) in small portions. The Gond will puff up and turn into pearly white beads. Fry it over low heat until it's cooked through. Remove it from the pan and, once it cools, grind it coarsely with your hands or the bottom of a bowl. Frying Flour: Add wheat flour to the same ghee. Stir constantly and fry over low heat until the flour turns golden brown and releases a pleasant aroma. Be careful not to overheat, as the flour may burn. Nuts and Mixture: After the flour is roasted, add chopped nuts so they can lightly roast with the hot flour. Turn off the heat and add the coarsely ground Gond, cardamom powder, and Laddu. Allow the mixture to cool slightly. When it's warm to the touch, add powdered sugar or jaggery. Don't add sugar to the hot mixture, or it will become watery. Now, use your palms to press the mixture into round balls.
