#Breaking Syrian air defences engage Israeli war plane over the Occupied Golan, rockets fall over Majdal-Shams. The battle for Syrian airspace is now officially active. The past 24hrs saw multiple escalations by the US/Israel, and severe counter-measures by the Syrian/Russian Armies.

But the first indication of what was to come in the past 24hrs happened 5 days ago, when the Russian SU-25 was shut out of the sky over Idlib; and the Syrian Army responded by deploying S-300 air defences in Aleppo delivered by Russia. Since then, Turkish planes have stopped entering Syrian air-space and have been delivering support to their advancing ground troops from Turkish air-space, save for drones.

Then came the Israeli attack on Jamraya research centre outside Damascus yesterday. The Israeli warplanes stayed in Lebanese air-space and fired 5 cruse missiles; to their shock, Syria had deployed advanced air-defences (probably S-400) and shot-down 4 of the advanced cruse missiles!

Then came this morning's American air attack on the Syrian Army positions outside the city of Deir ezZor, killing 25-100 soldiers (depending who you believe). The Russians in response have said that the US is now officially in Syria to partition it and control its natural resources. It is expected that the Syrian Army may now move newly delivered air-defences into the region of Deir ezZor, making it impossible for the US Imperial coalition to breach Syrian air-space.

Then came the attempted Israeli attack on southern Syria in the past hour, again the Israelis have been shocked by the Syrian Army capabilities and response. The Israeli war plane was fired at inside the air-space of the Occupied Golan!

The situation in Lebanon also indicating that a direct confrontation between the Americans (and all their vessels), and the Syrian Army and Hizbullah, on all the historic lands of the Levant is eminent. Yesterday saw threats by Lieberman against Lebanese exploration and use of their Mediterranean gas fields, as well as the Zionist commencing construction of an Apartheid Wall that steals Lebanese land. This led to an emergency meeting of the Lebanese government, who ordered the deployment of the Lebanese Army and resistance on full alert this morning.

The possibility of a regional war in the Levant is becoming very high. The repeated declarations by Palestinian groups, cumulating with the announcement by the DFLP yesterday that they have committed to a mutual defence alliance with Hizbullah and Syria; make the Levant a singular battlefield.
