200 senesinde Remzi Kitabevi tarafından basılan 255 sayfalık bu kitap tarihi bir romandır. Kitapta her ne kadar fotoğraflar belge olarak kullanılmış ise de, kitapta oldukça fazla kurgu var.

Henüz çok gençken Avrupa ile tanış olan ve gittiği dönemde özellikle Fransa 'da gerçekleşen özgürlük akımlarından oldukça etkilenerek yurda dönen Mithat Paşa 'nın yaşamını ele alan kitap günümüzde halen devam eden birçok tartışmaya kurgusal olarak değinmiş.

Çok değişik bi abimizdir Mithat Paşa, halen hakkında birçok tartışma devam eder.

Eğer tarihi romanları seviyorsanız bi göz atarsınız. Kategorik bi kitap olduğu için tavsiye konusunda bir şey diyemem.
