Good morning from Tanzania! ☀️
Before I dive back into the world of Tusky, Mastodon, and Pixelfed, I start the day with the simple essentials — or at least I try to. Today, there was no running water, and the only option was a single public shower with cold water. It was a refreshing wake-up call in the truest sense.
After that, a hearty breakfast and a generous cup of coffee ☕ felt even more deserved.
There’s something grounding about easing into the morning while Mount Kilimanjaro looms quietly in the distance, its presence both humbling and energizing. The tech side of my day — setting up accounts, tweaking settings, and watching how different platforms connect — can wait just a little longer.
First, it’s time to fuel up, take in the view, and get ready for whatever the day in Tanzania decides to bring.
