I never would have thought of rice and noodles with any kind of dessert, but I only know of halo-halo through its ice cream imitation. Then again, waffles (in the form of ice cream cones) work with ice cream, so as I was reading this I was trying to stretch my thinking, and now it makes sense to me. Ice cream with a waffle cone, halo-halo with noodles or rice ... it makes better sense, the more I learn what halo-halo really is. Someday I will have to get very brave, and try this!
