Indeed, it is special. (read my reply to FitNFunFood above).

About 3 times per week, I have massaman curry at the Brown Rice Ladies shop in the back of Kad Suan Kaew mall. I've been eating it there for over a year. Each time I eat it, I'm surprised how supremely delicious it is.

All for 40 baht!!!!! Yes, we are in paradise here.
