Reminds me of one of my favorites, "it's not rocket surgery" ... 😉 Hard to know how humor translates across cultural and language barriers ...
I'm no brain mechanic, I just used to watch the Simpson's and picked it up. It was an episode about Martin's birthday, Lisa ended up correcting the guy.
When going to another culture, a lot of the humor is one of the last things to pick up. I can't even watch stand up comedians who are from unfamiliar English speaking cultures or who just have stuff that is too niche.

"Rocket surgery" is play on words combining the well known (in America) "rocket science" or "brain surgery." Typically used in conversation about a topic where an understanding at the depth of neither of these is required ...
I love good humor. My strong preference is for so-called "clean" humor. Which sadly is increasingly short supply here in America ...
