Did they serve butterbeer? Looks like a cash-in on the HP franchise, but otherwise looks like a lot of generic food pubs these days. I think we have stopped at Alnwick on the way to Scotland. If we stop again I will check for alternative places to eat.
I would have bought a butterbeer if they were on tap but settled for some other local pint. I loved the food here, it could be that I ordered the right thing.
Well I'll consider it next time we stop there. We had butterbeer at the HP studio. It's not that special and not alcoholic.
The latter point I can understand, but did it taste unique?
Can't really remember. It was just part of the experience. I remember they were serving it in the outdoor bit with the Privet Drive house and the bus and that it was cold that day. We've been back since then, but don't think I bothered having it again.
