Kolok Mee, White Mee, or National Dish and Icon for Sarawak Noodle. Sarawak is my neighbouring state, which takes about 45min flight from BKI / KCH.

Sarawak is also another state with multi colors of etnic groups and also languange, whilst also comes many types of cuisines offered from each tribe and group.

This dish Kolok Mee is derived from this state from the people of Shan Tung or Hokkien. They created this noodle simply because it is fast and easy, almost the similar reason of the Instand Noodle for the Japanese, this is Kolok Mee Instant Noodle for Sarawakian and Malaysian.

This shop is owned by a Sarawakian, came to Sabah in early 70s and start doing this business here. I grew up eating this noodle in this area, these owners saw me grew up, and thats how old i am now, now i bring my nieces and daughter here for breakfast and Lunch.

Angel my wife dish. Basically its the same, LOL.

Trust me it is worth it to come. However, this Kolok mee is one of the mpst expensive i ever paid, if you ever paid Kolok MEe in West Malaysia (KL or Johor , Penang) you will know how cheap it will be.

But this Kolok mee cost me RM9.00 per plates. but the quantity is a lot thou.
