Introduction

Hello! My name is [@neelofar] and I am excited to present my application for Steemit Learning Contest Season 22. This course is designed for everyone ,mothers fathers and future parents alike because we all have a role to play in the development of children. One day everyone will become parents or will influence the lives of children around them so it’s important to understand how to support their growth in a positive and healthy way.

In this course we will cover the basics of early childhood education focusing on how parents caregivers and future parents can lay the foundation for a child learning and development. The course emphasizes the role of love interaction and structured activities in the early years of life. It also highlights how we as parents or future parents can prepare ourselves for the future and create a strong foundation for our children education.

The Subject Area I Want to Cover

I want to highlight the concept of learning in the mother’s lap which refers to the critical role mothers play as the first teachers in a child’s life. The earliest lessons in life are learned not in schools or classrooms but through the care love and guidance of a mother. These early interactions lay the foundation for a child’s emotional mental and social development.

However this course is not just for mothers everyone can learn from it. Whether you are a teenager a young adult or someone already planning for the future this course will help you prepare for the day you might become a parent. Understanding the importance of early education now will empower you to guide your child in the best way possible when the time comes.

This course will explore how children from six months to two years old can learn essential skills like language communication and basic behaviors simply by observing and interacting with their caregivers. It emphasizes the power of love play and structured activities to teach children effectively during this impressionable age.

In today busy world many parents and caregivers depends on mobile phones YouTube and social media to keep children entertain. While these tools may seem helpful they can negatively impact a child’s mental growth emotional well being and language development. Through this course I aim to teach everyone how to replace these habits with meaningful interactions such as talking to a child playing games and reading stories together.

For mothers this course will serve as a guide to make the most of their time with their child showing them how simple actions—like making eye contact using facial expressions and teaching words can have a lifelong impact. For fathers and future parents it will provide practical ways to support their child’s learning journey ensuring that both parents work as a team to build a strong foundation for their child’s future.

By focusing on the concept of learning in the mother’s lap this course emphasizes the universal importance of nurturing early education. It’s a chance for everyone—mothers fathers and future parents alike—to understand how to foster a child’s growth and prepare for the incredible responsibility of parenthood.

My Background

I am very interested in early childhood education and parenting and I believe that teaching children properly in their early stage can make a big difference in their lives. I have a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Early Childhood Education (ECE) from Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU). This course taught me the skills needed to work with little children in places like preschools daycare centers and kindergartens.

The diploma helped me understand how early education and care can affect children’s growth and development. It also gave me a deeper understanding of children families and parenting. I learned that good care in the early years can lead to positive mental health and development as children grow.

As part of my training I did practical work in ECE schools where I observed and helped teach children. This experience improved my teaching skills and helped me learn how to take care of children in a personal way focusing on their needs and abilities.

Now I want to share what I learned with others. The knowledge from my diploma along with my experience will help me guide parents future parents and caregivers on how to teach and care for children at home and in other settings.

This background has prepared me to teach parents and caregivers how to be better teachers for their children. I want to show them how simple actions like play talking and setting routines can help children learn and grow in a positive way.
