Tea infuser for loose tea

A tea infuser for loose tea is a device that is used to steep loose tea leaves in hot water in order to make tea. It generally consists of a cup or bowl with a lid and a fine mesh basket inside which holds the tea leaves. To use it, the tea leaves are placed in the basket, the lid is closed and the infuser is placed in a cup of hot water. The tea is then steeped for the desired amount of time before being removed.
