HOW I HAVE BECOME RELATIVELY SUCCESSFUL ON STEEMIT- HOW YOU CAN TOO-700 FOLLOWERS
Hello my fellow steemians
Although I have certainly not exceeded what is to be perceived as amazing success on steemit in terms of financial gain, I certainly have gained a lot more positive financial success and following than before. I think the main reason I have become relatively successful on steemit in the last few months or so is because I stuck at what I wanted to achieve and continued to be active in the community. Although my first few posts were unsuccessful, and didn't gain much following and upvotes, I continued to become active in the community, continued commenting, continued making more posts and resteem others posts and within a few months I have gained more of a following and financial gain.
There are a few people who have really helped me with this following, most of which are from my homeland country and where I am currently based in Australia. The people I have to really, really, really thank are @mattclarke who has helped me significantly with his huge amount of knowledge, and his ability to teach me all I need to know about the site and what to do. He is also the organiser here in Adelaide who organisers meet ups and we are able to get together at a local pub and talk about steemit, although I have not been to one yet I am certainly excited in coming and joining the team here in Adelaide.
I also want to do a massive shout out and huge thanks to @choogirl who shouted me out in one of her blogs and has continued to support and follow my posts. I know she is also apart of @teamaustralia which have been tremendous in upvoting and looking at my content. I also want to say a massive thanks to @nikonmarshall who is a close friend of mine from school and got me into the site initially. I also want to say a massive thanks to @benleemusic, he is a fantastic, internationally recognised artist and someone I would love you all to check out!! His blogs are fantastic and I think he serves similar morals to me.
I think that with time and commitment I have certainly been able to gather a following from these people as well as support. If it wasn't for these people then I may have stopped doing steemit as I did not see the need. What I am saying though is that it just proves that the more you commit yourself to this site, and the more you are able to become active and engaged in the community then the more chances of success you have.
For me, here are some really basic tips on how you can be successful on steemit:
BLOG ABOUT YOUR PASSIONS
If your willing to blog about what you love and talk about what you love, the more the chances are of becoming successful. It's a great outlet for us to be able to speak about our passions and what we believe in and from what I have read also it is the best way to become financially successful on this platform.
COMMENT COMMENT COMMMENT & READ
Comment, that's right it's a simple as that, find a post that you find interesting - READ ALL OF IT- don't just have a browse because the more you read and engage the better chance you are at understanding the post and understanding what the author is trying to achieve- That way they will like you better and also you will gain more of a following from this ( as I have found out)
RESTEEM WHAT YOU LOVE
If you see something that you are passionate about or see something that you love and think is well written, and feel like it will attract your followers and future followers- WHY NOT HELP OUT ANOTHER STEEMER AND RESTEEM IT :)
There are 3 simple steps on how to become successful on this exciting new platform, and once again I thank everyone who has taken the time to support me on here and read this post. I wish you all the best of luck and although this may seem like a really small and basic post - I know for a fact that if you have read what I said it will help you :)
Happy steeming everyone
Henry
This certainly needs more upvotes and a resteem!
Slow and steady seems to win the race here it seems.
Slowing down to read everything thoroughly, taking time to craft a decent, respectful and well though out response will pay off in the end.
Thanks heaps man :) would be great to get this resteemed, yes I agree slow and steady certainly does seem to do well :) thanks heaps man what a lovely comment
I've posted similar stuff on my blog if you want to check it out. Will you be at the Adelaide meet up this week?
Yeah mate should be there :) will definitely come over and check it out
I've found that friendly, supportive, insightful comments tend to be more popular than mine.
What a support did you get here! :) I have also found a few supporters who really help me a lot! Without these people I would not be able to function here :) Congratulations on your success here! And thank you for the tips! I do read the full articles and also comment a lot however I ignore comments from people who are just seeking attention and put comments with no relation to the actual blog :)
A tremendous amount of support, thanks so much for your comment and valid piece of information, really appreciate the time and energy :) Glad to hear someone is on the same page as me! Keep on steeming and I'll have to check your steemit out :)
Henry
Congrats on the success Henry! It really is amazing how many good people are out there willing to let a hand.
One thing I think is a must at the moment is to stay active consistently. It doesn't have to be hours every day, but just enough to stay in the loop. I went completely dark for over a month when I was flat out with renos and when I got back it was like starting all over again. Trying to remember tags, how to format posts, who's doing what and keeping track of all the different groups and initiatives as pretty overwhelming! I feel like I'm just starting to get my mojo back though :) Viva #teamaustralia!
Thanks so much mate I really appreciate it! Yeah man I agree %100 it's all about how willing you are to commit to it and how much time and effort you'll put into it! I've found and you're right the more you invest the more you get out :)
Thanks for stopping by I really appreciate it and look forward to reading more of your posts :)
