What a strange year this is

I was sitting here this morning thinking about all the strange happenings in the heavens. It is interesting to me and makes me wonder what is going on in our universe? Perhaps it is all just coincidence I couldn't tell you but definitely interesting. I may have the time line of the happenings wrong though the mere fact that they all happened kinda blew my mind.

The first thing that was not so wild in and of itself was the recent solar eclipse. It isn't so strange to have these but the eclipse as usual freaked people out and drew quite a crowd of people to view it. In days before science man wondered and feared the sun being overlapped buy our moon. The explanations were wild and often used to confirm the end of days. it was viewable amongst other places the entire United states and was the first time this happened since June 8 1918. The next item of interest Asteroid 2012 TC4. The huge asteroid TC4 was the size of a freaking house!This asteroid traveled in between the earth and our moon luckily no satellites were destroyed. gif from nasa.gov Even better then that I am sitting here writing this and you this morning and you the readers are breathing and reading. Wow, amazing stuff! The space rock was deflected once it came close enough to the gravitational field of earth so we were pretty fortunate this time. For my last event there seems to have been two stars colliding with the resulting gravity wave producing numerous amounts and types of gold and other elements. How cool is that? Would it be cool to find gold and other precious metal nuggets in your front yard from this? Is this even possible?Astronomers were besides them selfs as they observed gravitational waves in our universe that was apparently viewable with normal light telescopes. So in conclusion I would like to spark a few questions. Has anyone noticed such close together events happening before? Were you able to see any of these things happen? Also does anyone think any of it is connected ? How strange our universe and wondrous at the same time.
