What is Oolong Tea(烏龍)?
Do you know that Oolong Tea also called Black Dragon Tea? Oolong Tea is in the same category of traditional Chinese Tea. Many countries such as China, Taiwan and Southeast Asia consume Oolong Tea, primarily among the Chinese expatriates. Oolong Tea comes in many different types depending on how the tea is processed. The usual process of Oolong tea is fermented and allowed to partially oxidise degree between 8% - 85% depending on the production style. The famous Oolong teas in China usually produced in the Wuyi Mountains of northern Fujian, such as Da Hong Pao, it is a profoundly oxidised, dark Oolong tea.
Oolong Tea in Taiwan supply 20% of the world production for tea. Taiwan produces a lot of type of Oolong tea, one of the most famous tea called Ali Mountain/Alishan (阿里山) Oolong Tea which also called Winter Tea. It's grown at 1,000 meters and above. The Gold Lily Tea variety has a milky flavour which most of the tea merchants tend to stress the unique qualities of it. Gold Lily is also the name of a cultivar that had been developed in Taiwan in the 1980s.

According to a population-based study of dyslipidaemia conducted in Shantou for 1 year from 2010 December to 2011 December which the participants aged 20-80 years, the people who drank 1 cup or more per day of Oolong Tea had lower risks of having high cholesterol, triglyceride, and LDL or "bad" cholesterol.Guess what Oolong Tea can also help with losing weight
It was proved by a study conducted by Chinese Journal of Integrative Medicine title: Beneficial effects of oolong tea consumption on diet-induced overweight and obese that drinking 300 ml of Oolong Tea Four times a day continuously for six weeks resulting participants to lose 1 Kilograms.
