A Christmas Wish....

I’m a career mum who juggled between family and work. Motherhood is not easy for me once I gave birth to my first child. I need to adjust my routine to adapt my new life. I slowly get used to my new life and soon after a year I had my 2nd pregnancy. God was too good to me as I was blessed with a pair of twin this time. I still remembered clearly when doctor broke the good news to me. I was like ‘Are you sure?’ and I couldn’t believe it.

Everyone in the family was so happy and can’t wait for the happy moment to come. But, deep in my heart I was thinking ‘How am I going to handle this’? Now, I have 3 young children. My life is overwhelmed. Thank god, with the help of my mum and family members I went through this hardest moment.

One day during my confinement, something has strikes my mind. I realized it is very hard for me to continue my 9-5 job and take care of the children at the same time. I need a changed in my career. Working flexible is the only option. As I know there are plenty of skillful mums who have the potential to stand on their own feet. But sadly, they lack of support on how to do it. This is why I set up careermumsclub.com (CMC), to support career mums to build up their own business so that they have the privilege to take care the family.

Since then, I attended courses and explore myself on how to create website, online marketing and all shot of knowledge regarding of virtual business as I’m a strong believer of e-commerce. I wrote articles, share my knowledge and thought on how to build an e-commerce. (I'm don't consider myself an expert and I'm still learning everyday).

My biggest mission is make CMC serve as a platform to build network, cultivate relationships and provide mentoring, whereby experienced mumpreneurs can share their success stories with newcomers and/or each other. This is how Mumpreneurs Directory was created to serve this purpose. Mum businesses are welcome to feature in the directory and leverage sales.

Due to my busy schedule, CMC is moving very slow. My friends were asking why am I delaying the progress. I should be pushing CMC aggressively, share to everyone, tell and broadcast to everyone. I really appreciate all the comments from everyone. I know I still need a lot of hard work to make CMC grow.
