Solving labor shortages with tech

in #techyesterday

We are having a really hard time finding skilled workers lately. It is slowing down all our projects. I was thinking maybe some new technology could help us be more efficient with a smaller team. Has anyone tried using robotics or automated equipment for simple tasks? What kind of innovations are actually worth the investment right now for a builder? Any advice would be great.

The labor shortage is a huge problem everywhere right now. Tech is definitely a part of the solution. We have been looking into automated site monitoring and better project management software to reduce the administrative load on our site supers. It really helps people work smarter, not harder. You should check out some construction industry innovations to see what might fit your needs. They talk about stuff like 3D printing and smart materials that can really speed things up. It is a bit of an investment upfront, but it pays off when you can finish jobs faster with fewer people. Definitely worth looking into the latest trends to stay ahead.
