Samsung Ups Its Game With A New Curved Monitor
Gamers, there is a new monitor coming to market that you need to check out. It is the new Samsung curved quantum dot monitor, CH711, that will be on display at CES 2017.

The new monitor will come in 27-inch and 31.5-inch sizes. It features an excellent 2,560x1,440 resolution. The curvature is 1,800R with a 178-degree viewing angle.

It looks like curved monitors will be a part of the high-tech office environment too.
I am definitely psyched and will be adding these to my 2017 Christmas wish list.

I plan to upgrade my monitor this year, and this looks like an interesting option. However, OLED technology is supposed to be easier on the eyes than either LED or quantum dot. I have little interest in game playing, so OLED was my preference for its depth of colour. But now I'm wondering wether to wait to see if the curved screen offers any ergonomic value.
