The first Air to Water ATM has been introduced in India

NDMC in collaboration with Water Gen, an Israeli company installed Air to Water ATM at Connaught Place.

This water ATM uses air to produce water meant for drinking purposes and the machine was built keeping in mind the current air quality of Delhi.

Areas where humidity is more will benefit a lot using this first Air to Water 💦 ATM...Amazing technology

This will make drinking water from thin air and it has been installed in Delhi’s Connaught Place.

It will make 500 litres of clean and safe drinking potable water from ordinary air every day.

The machine traps the moisture in the air and passes it through different filters to clear out impurities.

Then, the water vapour is condensed using a coolant. After the water vapour is condensed, minerals are added to produce water.

Using 1 kilowatt of energy, the water ATM can produce 4 litres of drinking water.

The price of water will depend on the energy consumed.

This technology exists in other Western countries, but it is the first time that it’s been introduced in India..

How do we know if the air in that area is polluted or not, that thing makes the air pure before it turns it in to water???
