Amazon is developing a 'blended-reality' mirror that dresses you in virtual clothes at home, patent shows

The new patented mirror first works by deciding what should be reflected, and what is to be replaced, with a virtual image. Your face, would be reflected as it is.

body and limbs would be reflected with different clothing with added virtually, and the background would be completely replaced by something new. The patent shows how an eye-tracking module is used to locate the users and identify them.

The idea here is you can try on clothes and move around in them without having to deal with real clothes. at end of game for Amazon is pretty obvious as far as I see it: an Echo-branded the mirror with virtual clothing features built-in.
If you want to try something you virtually, Amazon will have the real version/vision sent out via the Prime, which can be shared @facebook and many social Medias
