Steal This Idea? - Subconscious Alarm Clock
Every morning I am figuratively punched in the face by my alarm clock.
Even the most ‘relaxing’ alarm sound or song quickly becomes the most hated sound in your life after a few mornings of it disturbing your slumber.
I’ve tried out ‘Sleep Cycle Alarm’ apps that claim to wake you up at the optimal time to avoid grogginess, but never saw much of a difference. Plus I didn’t like having to have my phone plugged in and on all night.
What if your alarm made any time the right time by coaxing you out of bed with hypnosis?
Hypnotism works for putting people to sleep, so I don’t see why it wouldn’t work for waking you up.
The alarm would play a soothing voice, gradually increasing in volume, that walks you through the process of waking up.
Example:
You are slowly becoming more aware, more alert.
With every passing second, you are coming closer to waking consciousness.
When you do wake up, you will feel well rest, energized and light.
I’m going to count backwards from 5.
When I reach 1, you will become aware of the light coming through your eyelids.
5…4…3…2…1…
You are now aware of your body touching your bed.
You may now wish to open your eyes and behold this beautiful day.
Good morning :)
Some work with an accomplished hypnotist would provide multiple recordings for the user to choose from, allowing them to choose how to feel when they wake up. eg. energetic, peaceful, excited, imaginative, etc.
I hope someone makes this!
