DIY Off Grid PowerWall Update: Waiting on a transformer....

We're waiting on the thing shown above, a 10000 w stepdown transformer. See for efficiency purposes we're building our bigger main system 48DCV, which will put out 230ACV single phase which is what Europe and many other parts of the world use . This stepdown transform kicks the power down so we can still use American style appliances that run at 115ACV on this system.

Here's the link to the page where it's sold, we're getting the one that's 399 dollars. With any luck, it'll show up today.
