in #technology7 years ago (edited)

It is no Secret that A.I. ( artificial intelligence) is Progressing Rapidly , it seems that every Couple of week, There is an Unexpected Development that takes people By surprise.

This achievement Was made By OpenAI.

So What is the background Story ?
Every year the game Developer Valve Host a competition for expert players in the game Dota2 , the competition host professional players from all around the world all fighting for 24 Millions dollars grand price.

This year , there was a special guest competitor who wasn't human , it was an A.I. Trained By OpenAI's Engineers.
when it was put up 1 on 1 against one of the world best player of Dota2 -Dendi- the A.I. Won.

Dendi Was surprised that an A.I. could outplayed a human, He Said that the A.I. Quote ".. Felt a Little like a human, But a little like something Else", This Was Achieved By only 2 weeks of Real Time learning By the A.I. .

The Engineers said that in these 2 weeks the A.I accumulated life time experience, The A.I. Was Trained from scratch with no knowledge of the game , it played Against itself over and over again until it mastered the game.

Elon Musk The founder of OpenAI is saying that this is the first time that an A.I. Beats Professionals in Competitive Esports, and the Esports is considered in the 2024 Olympics , This is certainly interesting :D

Feel Free to comment below and tell me what do you think about that achievement :D
