The feature can be enabled from the 'Account & Security' option in the 'Settings' of the user's emo account. If one wants to enable two-step verification, one must ensure that the app has the latest version. The company has written on its site that the account can no longer be accessed with the old version of the app after launching this system.

'Phishing': 'Phishing' is a type of cyber attack, where the user is sent fraudulent emails, messages or links to fake websites to obtain personal or business information. Therefore, beware of such phishing emails, messages or websites. Do not enter any link in the inbox without being completely sure. So check the authenticity of your login details before entering them anywhere.

Update the app: The company advises to keep the emo app always updated to version 17/23 11:27. Updates often contain various security patches, which address various known security issues.

Review devices connected to the app: Periodically review the list of devices that have access to your emo account and remove unknown devices.

First go to your profile page. >> Select the 'Settings' option.

Click on 'Account and Security' option.

Go to 'Manage Devices' option.

Now remove the unknown device from the list of devices.

A new login code will be required to log in again from a device that has been removed from the account. As a result, no user information will be visible from that device.

Avoid Public Wi-Fi : Avoid public Wi-Fi networks while using imo, especially when writing sensitive information in the app. Use a secure and trusted network to reduce the risk of fraud.
