I'm a Windows user starting from 3.1 but I'm done with Windows once Windows 7 is no longer supported. After a period of sanity, Microsoft has gone crazy again with Windows 10. The rapey and disrespectful way they've been pushing 10 on its customers is disgusting. The mobile-izing of its design and function is a bad idea. But the biggest thing is Microsoft's complete disregard for its customers' privacy.

Cryptocurrency stuff has pushed me to get over the initial humps with using Linux and I'm glad it did. I suggest trying more than just Ubuntu. Linux Mint is based on Ubuntu and its UI is more similar to Windows. I've also been recommended Suse but I have not given it a try yet.
