Major 'design flaw' in Intel processors made in the last decade could expose your private passwords to hackers

in #technology6 years ago (edited)

A massive security flaw thought to affect millions of computers has been discovered in the design of Intel's processors, which could give hackers your passwords.

Nature of the bug is being kept under wraps while programmers work to fix the problem.  But it is believed to be found in Intel chips made over the past decade.

Most Windows and Mac OS users will have to download a patch that slows down your system's performance by 5% to 30%

What do you think about it? Are you going to download the patch or not?
