The world’s largest tech deal

One of the biggest semiconductor chip producer Brodcom, On November 6th, announced that its intention to buy its rival, Qualcomm, for around $130bn which include debt as well. If successful, it would be the largest deal in the history of the technology business. The combined group would become the world’s third-largest chipmaker. This make brodcom biggest cip producer after Intel and Samsung Electronics. In future Brodcom will dominant supplier of many components in smartphones.
