Trojan threatens Android users to publish their personal information

in #technology7 years ago

The mobile portal Zicher de said that the Leakerlocker is now spreading to Android devices and threatens to send its personal data to all contacts stored on its smartphone, such as pictures, SMS and e-mails. Chat dialogs and browser history.

To prevent such sensitive data from being sent, hackers ask the user to enter the credit card number for the ransom. German experts advise not to respond to such threats, since payment of the ransom does not guarantee that the private data will not be published.

This has been transferred through the two applications (Wallpapers Blur HD) and Booster & Cleaner Pro, and although recently removed from the Google Play Store, this does not mean that Trojans are excluded from other applications.

The German technology portal advises Android owners to question applications before installing them, requiring unnecessary permissions to perform their functions, and reading other users' comments and ratings for applications before downloading them.
