The session was prepared by Dennis M. Bushnell, Chief Scientist, at NASA Langley Research Center. The presentation is in conjunction with a spectrum of alphabet agencies, various projects and the Australian DOD. It goes on to state that it is all based on existing technologies...and "NO PIXIE DUST." The basis is the rate of technological advancement of IT, Bio, and Nano, a battle for "Spaceship Earth" scenario, accompanied by "Evolution" vastly shortened by the future age of technology. Geo-engineering of the planet and all its life, and ultimately the robotized key "Future Technologies" implementation.
The presentation goes on to explain the stakes for the US. Impactful disruptive technologies. A robotic future integrated with military applications and countering an adversaries abilities should they decide to utilize the more nefarious methods of Bio-warfare.
