I have searched far and wide for an app to do what this app does. I constantly try and take pictures of certain parts of books that I am reading so I can take notes and this makes it so much easier to record the thought and even output to other programs where I can highlight and annotate.I struggled to find an equivalent to Scan to Text on my old BlackBerry Passport, so kept the 'phone going just to scan text. After 2 or 3 attempts since I migrated to Android, I finally found this. Quick and very simple!Extraordinarily good. Are you looking for the best app to scan hardcopy materials into soft copy ? Look no further, just download this text fairy. I sound like an advertiser right ??

Am just so excited about the app. Thanks to the developers.I have tried quite a few OCR apps but this is the only one that I have found that does exactly what I want it to do. Firstly, it works offline; secondly, after photographing the text, I can crop to just the text that I want it to read; thirdly, it is fairly accurate, even with poor quality text. What more can you ask for!
