A 3 DAYS TUTORIAL ON SOME SPECIAL DELICACIES
Hey guys.....Its ur girl Deinma and i'll be doing something different this week....I will giving a 3 days lecture on 3 different delicacies...So stay put and enjoy......
MY CLUB SANDWICH AND I
Today, i will be talking about a special snack...THE CLUB SANDWICH.....
The club sandwich was not produced originally in Nigeria but is eaten alot especiially in the western parts of Nigeria.. The recipe has been taken from the western parts of the world and converted into a Nigerian delicacy
INGREDIENTS
4 slices of bread
I egg(hardboiled)
1 fresh plum tomato
1 medium carrot
1/4 cabbage
2 pieces of sardine
1 tablespoon of margarine/butter
1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
PREPARATIONS
- Wash all vegetables very well
2 . Scrape the carrots and remove the seeds from the tomatoes - Grate the carrot and cabbage using a small holed grater
- Cut the tomatoes and hardboiled egg into tiny pieces
- Add the mayonnaise to the carrot, cabbage, tomatoes and egg. Mix well
- In a separate plate, mash the sardine and mix with the margarine
- With a knife, scrap out the crusty ends of the bread slice
- Take a slice, rub the margarine and sardine mixture on one end and cover with another slice
- Repeat this for the other 2 slices
- Now take the first 2 slices, rub the carrot, tomato, cabbage, egg and mayonnaise mixture on the other end of the slice and cover with the other 2 slices. By now, the 4 slices are stuck together Cut into desired shapes.
U can now serve with a hot chocolate drink or any chilled juice...Hmmmmm..Yummy!
And your sandwich is ready for consumption

I've always wanted to taste gray caviar. My first try was awful 'cause I bought caviar at the local market and it was terrible.
