I enjoyed the beat of your story. Engaging.
I loved that line of where he questions if he really loves Martha and questions the ability of these new beings to know how he feels about her.
That was the idea to engage the reader from the beginning and not let it go. and well,
they are very superior beings to humans... they control us and....I can't say much more.
