If it is in the U.S.....ahh heck, just change your number and tell your friends the new number. It's not worth trying to figure out who is calling you and why. The U.S. has laws against it, but it's not worth your time. If it starts happening again after you change the number, it's one of your "friends" playing pranks on you.
I've had this number for over 15 years and I shouldn't have to change my number.
My family and buddies have been vetted. The ones that have just don't mess around like that.
